1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SwiftDrop ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform. These terms apply to all users including customers, riders, and vendors.

2. Description of Service

SwiftDrop is a local delivery platform operating in New Jersey that connects customers with nearby vendors (restaurants, grocery stores, etc.) and independent delivery riders. We facilitate orders and deliveries but are not a restaurant or grocery store ourselves.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Orders & Payments

• All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
• Orders are subject to availability and delivery area restrictions.
• Payment is processed securely at the time of order placement.
• A service fee and applicable NJ sales tax will be added to each order.
• Tips for riders are optional but encouraged.

5. Delivery Policy

• Estimated delivery times are approximate and not guaranteed.
• We currently deliver within Springfield, Union, Irvington, and Roselle, NJ.
• SwiftDrop is not responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• You must be available to receive your order at the delivery address provided.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

• Orders may be cancelled before a rider is assigned. Once picked up, cancellations are not accepted.
• Refunds are issued at our discretion for missing, incorrect, or damaged items.
• To request a refund, contact us within 24 hours of delivery.

7. Rider Terms

• Riders are independent contractors, not employees of SwiftDrop.
• Riders must complete identity verification before accepting deliveries.
• Riders are responsible for their own vehicle, insurance, and compliance with local laws.
• Earnings are calculated based on distance and tips as configured by the platform admin.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Submit false or fraudulent orders.
• Harass, threaten, or harm riders, vendors, or other users.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or tamper with the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

SwiftDrop is provided "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to food quality issues, delivery delays, or data loss.

10. Privacy

Your use of SwiftDrop is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
